Our Story

Bar and Blue Swim is a female founded, made to order swimwear brand created from a love of the ocean, travel, and a desire for swimwear that truly fits.

Founder Lori had no particular love for the beach growing up. It just wasn't her thing until she started traveling. Her first trip to Aruba changed something. Then Bonaire. Then the Amalfi Coast. By the time she found herself scuba diving, snorkeling, and spending full days out on the water she realized the ocean had become her favorite place in the world.

It was there, searching for the perfect bikini season after season, that Bar and Blue was born. As a tall woman with a long torso and fuller bust Lori could never find swimwear that actually fit. So she taught herself to sew and started making the swimwear she always wanted.
